The Planet Media Ecommerce Content Management Solution is a full-featured admin control panel for editing and publishing website. This is browser-based, so it can be accessed and updated from any computer with Internet access. This is our custom CMS solution that has the flexibility to offer custom features and solutions not readily available from a “cookie cutter” or “off-the-shelf” solution.
Our CMS does not require knowledge of HTML code and is written in PHP, an open source programming language widely used and accepted in the web development community. Our system code can easily be understood, edited and updated by any programmer proficient in PHP and MySQL.
The Planet Media “Open Source” CMS facilitates the following features and functionality:
- The CMS will allow the ability to have various levels of system user administration requiring individual login credentials to access the CMS admin control panel.
- Adding, updating and editing dynamic or database driven pages
- Manage Parent and Child Pages
- Manage Page URL’s
- Manage Page Titles
- Manage Menu Caption
- Page Status (Visible or Hidden)
- Page Menu Status (Show in Menus, Footer or Site Map)
- Manage Meta Data Keywords

- Manage page content (Similar to using a MS Word document editor)
- Add images and/or photos to pages
